Treatment of Women in the Qur’an
“Live with them (women) on a footing of kindness and equity.” - [4:19]
“And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women.” - [2:226]
“They (your wives) are a garment for you as you are a garment for them.” - [2:187]
“And from amongst His Signs is this: That He created for you mates from amongst yourselves, so that you may find serenity and tranquility in them. And He has put between you love and mercy. Indeed, in this are signs for those who reflect.” - [30:21]
